God and Greed
Many people consider one's religion a part of who that person is. So today i will attempt to express my religous stance and views.
I was born christian because that is my mothers religion. However, my parents agreed that I would be raised Jewish. So "jewish" i was raised....kinda. As a child I celebrated christmas and hannukah. I attended some church services and two or three years of gratz hebrew high school. But no one has been able to convince me that religion is real! there are over 400 different religions in the world and all of them think they got it right. I think it is all a load of bullshit. I guess religion gives people hope when they have none. hope that there is something better than the horrors they face in their lives. religion gives people the idea of something better......Heaven, 72 virgins, or whatever. But how many religous people can tell you that they know someone who has died and come back to life to tell them what its like. It just seems so frustrating to me that so many people trust stories that have been past down through so many generations. Furthermore, religion has caused so many wars, and arguments. During the times of the crusades it was either christianity or death. What would you choose?
considering my neglect and doubt with religion my entire life. I do not have much education on the validity of the subject. But as far as i can tell....its a load of bullshit that causes only problemns and discrepency amongst people. Religion is nothing more then an answer. An answer to the questions that continue to stump the most intellectual people to walk earth. Where did we come from?, why are we here? and how did we get here? Religion is a waste of time.

You're right - RELIGION does stink. A RELATIONSHIP with the God who made you doesn't.
